Section 296-307-40017 - Locations for anhydrous ammonia containers(1) When selecting the location for a storage container, the employer must take into account the physiological effects of ammonia and adjacent fire hazards. Containers located indoors must be in areas especially approved for container storage.(2) Containers must be located at least fifty feet from a dug well or other sources of potable water supply, unless the container is a part of a water treatment installation.(3) Permanent storage containers must be located outside densely populated areas.(4) Containers must be located according to the following: Minimum distances (feet) from container to:
