Section 246-490-200 - Electronic reporting of deaths(1) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (2) of this section, all deaths that occur in Washington state must be reported electronically using the format and system prescribed by the state registrar.(2) All fetal deaths that occur in Washington state must be reported using the format and system prescribed by the state registrar. Persons required to report fetal deaths must use the electronic system prescribed by the state registrar once the department makes available an electronic format for registering fetal deaths.Wash.
