Section 246-101-710 - Handling of confidential information-Department of labor and industries(1) The director of the department of labor and industries and department of labor and industries employees shall maintain the confidentiality of health care information consistent with chapter 70.02 RCW, RCW 42.56.360(2), and any other applicable confidentiality laws.(2) The director of the department of labor and industries shall :(a) Require all employees, contractors, and others with access to health care information, to sign confidentiality agreements; (b) Retain signed confidentiality agreements;(c) Reference in confidentiality agreements the administrative actions that may be taken by the department of labor and industries if the confidentiality agreement is violated; and(d) Renew confidentiality agreements at least annually.Wash.
