The board's public records shall be under the charge of the public records officer designated by the board chair. The person so designated shall be responsible for implementing these rules and regulations regarding the release of public records, and generally for ensuring compliance with the public records disclosure requirements of chapter 42.17 RCW and, in particular, RCW 42.17.250 through [42.17].340.
