Section 220-640-130 - Allowable possession of prohibited species if acquired prior to classification-Requirement of documentation A person who possessed a prohibited level 1, level 2, or level 3 species prior to the time the species was classified as prohibited may continue to hold the animal or animals for the life of the animals, provided that:
(1) The person must maintain proof of possession prior to the classification.(2) The animals may not be transferred to another owner within the state.(3) The person must comply with all provisions of this section.(4) The animals must be prevented from reproducing, or if prevention is impracticable, the progeny must be destroyed.Wash.
