Section 173-700-240 - Public notices(1) It is the department's goal to ensure that accurate information on the prospectus and the proposed bank certification is made available to the public, and to avoid duplicative processes for public comment.(a) When an existing public notice process is available to solicit public comment, the department shall strive to provide a joint public notice.(b) When an existing public notice process is not available, the department shall issue a public notice.(2) A public notice comment period must be at least thirty days.(3) If the department holds a public hearing, the comment period may be extended to one week after the hearing date.Wash.
