Section 173-360A-0410 - Changes in regulated substances

Owners and operators must notify the department of any changes in the regulated substances stored in an UST system and document compatibility in accordance with the requirements of this section.

(1) When changing to a hazardous substance, a regulated substance containing greater than ten percent ethanol or twenty percent biodiesel, or any other regulated substance identified by the department, owners and operators must notify the department and report compliance with the compatibility requirements in WAC 173-360A-0350(2) at least thirty days before making the change using the applicable form provided by the department.
(2) When changing to any other regulated substance, owners and operators must notify the department within thirty days after making the change using the applicable form provided by the department.
