Section 132S-100-275 - WeaponsUnauthorized possession of weapons (e.g., firearms, daggers, swords, knives, other cutting or stabbing instruments, or clubs) or substances (e.g., explosives) apparently capable of producing bodily harm and/or damage to real or personal property is prohibited on or in college-owned or operated facilities and premises and/or during college-sponsored events.
(1) Carrying of firearms on or in college-owned or operated facilities and/or during college-sponsored events is prohibited except and unless the permit is registered with the campus security department for a specified period of time.(2) The aforementioned regulations within this section shall not apply to equipment or materials owned, used or maintained by the college; nor will they apply to law enforcement officers or campus security officers acting in the legitimate performance of their lawful duties.Wash.
