Section 18VAC41-20-40 - Apprenticeship trainingA. Licensed barbers, master barbers, cosmetologists, and nail technicians who train apprentices shall comply with the standards for apprenticeship training established by the Division of Apprenticeship Training of the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry and the Virginia Board for Barbers and Cosmetology. Owners of barbershops, cosmetology salons, and nail salons who train apprentices shall comply with the standards for apprenticeship training established by the Division of Apprenticeship Training of the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry.B. Any person completing the Virginia apprenticeship program in barbering, master barbering, cosmetology, or nail care shall be eligible for examination.18 Va. Admin. Code § 41-20-40
