Section 16VAC30-60-110 - [Repealed effective 12/5/2024] Initial evaluationA. The committee member shall review the completed request for review, any response submitted by the defending party, and any additional information acquired during investigation.B. The responsible peer review committee member may request additional information from the physician, the insurer/employer, or any other source that has relevant information. If necessary, the chairman of the peer review committee may request that the commission utilize its powers of investigation.C. The committee member shall be prepared to make an oral evaluation of the request for review and recommended disposition at the informal hearing. The committee member or chairman has the discretion to resolve the matter in dispute with the consent of the parties and without the necessity of an informal hearing.16 Va. Admin. Code § 30-60-110
