Section 14 053 003 - RULES FOR ESTABLISHING TEMPORARY SPEED LIMITS1. The Traffic Committee hereby delegates to the Secretary of Transportation (Secretary) the authority to establish temporary speed limits on state highways that are being reconstructed or maintained.2. The Secretary may further delegate this authority to other employees of the Agency.3. Temporary speed limits shall be established pursuant to the standards set forth in "A Guide To Establishing Temporary Speed Limits in Highway Construction and Maintenance Work Zones" dated August 20, 1992 or its latest edition.14-003 Code Vt.
