Section R911-5-2500 - [Effective 4/3/2025] Off-line Medical Director Requirements(1) The department may certify an off-line medical director for a four-year period.(2) An off-line medical director shall be: (a) a physician actively engaged in providing emergency medical care or meets this requirement at the discretion of the state EMS medical director;(b) familiar with Title 53, Chapter 2b, Emergency Medical Services Act and applicable EMS administrative rules under Title R911; and(c) familiar with medical equipment and medications required.Utah Admin.
