Section R698-12-5 - Awards of Scholarship FundingThe department shall:
(1) review timely applications submitted to the department to determine that;(a) the applicant is eligible to receive grant funding in accordance with Section 53-17a-101; and(b) the educational-related expenses outlined in supporting documentation submitted with the application are eligible to receive scholarship funding;(2) approve funding awards for qualified applicants; and(3) notify each applicant: (a) of the approval or denial of the application for scholarship funding;(b) of the amount of scholarship funding that will be made available to the applicant for education-related expenses; and(c) that funds provided may be subject to funding availability or be reduced in accordance with Subsection 53-17a-101(6).Utah Admin.
