Section R671-405-3 - Discretionary Termination of Parole(1) The Department may request that the Board terminate any offender's parole at any time before the final day of the offender's maximum parole term.(2) The Department shall submit, with the request for early termination of parole, a termination report which contains the information set forth in Section R671-405-2.(3) Written notification of the Board's decision regarding the request for parole termination shall be provided to the offender through the Department.(4) In extraordinary circumstances, the Board may consider a termination request from an offender or offender's counsel. The Board may seek a recommendation from the Department on any parole termination request not submitted by the Department.Utah Admin. Code R671-405-3
