Section R614-3-9 - Medical Services and First AidA. The employer shall insure the availability of medical personnel for advice and consultation on matters of Occupational Health.B. Emergency Posting Required. A list of telephone numbers or addresses as may be applicable shall be posted in a conspicuous place so the necessary help can be obtained in case of emergency. This list shall include: (1) Employer or representative, C. Proper equipment for prompt transportation of the injured person to a physician or hospital or a communication system for contacting necessary ambulance service, shall be provided.D. In the absence of reasonably accessible medical personnel, a person who has a valid certificate in first aid training from the Mine Safety and Health Administration, the American Red Cross, or equivalent training that can be verified by documentary evidence, shall be available at the worksite to render first aid.E. An adequate supply of first aid supplies shall be readily accessible at the worksite. The first aid supplies shall be encased in suitable sanitary storage places so as to protect them from contamination.F. Where the employee's eyes or body may be exposed to injurious materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.Utah Admin.
