Section R614-2-13 - Drilling Industry - Blasting and the Use of ExplosivesA. The employer shall permit only authorized and qualified persons to use, handle and/or transport explosives.B. Transportation of explosives shall meet the provisions of the Department of Transportation regulations.C. Explosives and related materials shall be stored in approved facilities required under 27 CFR 55 Commerce in Explosives adopted by reference.D. A blaster shall be qualified in the field of transporting, storing, handling, and use of explosives and have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Laws which pertains to explosives.Utah Admin.
