Section R590-98-2 - Purpose and Scope(1) The purpose of this rule is to:(a) require a prompt response to a policyholder's request for policy values; and(b) limit the exercise of the statutory deferral option to a situation where the financial stability of the insurer is at risk.(2) This rule applies to an insurer engaged in the business of insurance.Utah Admin.
