Section R590-190-2 - Purpose and Scope

(1) The purpose of this rule is to:

(a) set standards for the investigation and disposition of property, casualty, and title claims; and

(b) identify an unfair claim practice.

(2) This rule applies to:

(a) a property and casualty insurer;

(b) a title insurer; and

(c) an authorized agent.
