Section R590-130-2 - Purpose and Scope(1) The purpose of this rule is to:(a) ensure that disclosures regarding benefits, limitations, and exclusions are clear and truthful; and(b) establish guidelines and standards of conduct to prevent unfair, deceptive, and misleading insurance advertising.(2) This rule applies to: (a) an insurance advertisement intended for presentation, distribution, or dissemination in this state; or(b) an insurer or a person on the insurer's behalf who presents, distributes, or disseminates an advertisement in this state.Utah Admin.
