Section R527-330-1 - Authority and Purpose(1) The Department of Human Services is authorized to create rules necessary for social services pursuant to Section 62A-1-111. The Office of Recovery Services (ORS) is authorized to adopt, amend, and enforce rules pursuant to Section 62A-11-107. (2) The purpose of this rule is to clarify that ORS must first apply support payments to current support obligations before applying the money to arrears debts. It also establishes a method for posting payments when the obligor does not provide instructions for the payment and has more than one child support case.Utah Admin. Code R527-330-1
