Section R527-254-1 - Authority and Purpose(1) The Department of Human Services is authorized to create rules necessary for social services pursuant to Section 62A-1-111. The Office of Recovery Services (ORS) is authorized to adopt, amend and enforce rules pursuant to Section 62A-11-107.(2) The purpose of this rule is to define the circumstances in which ORS will collect support arrears that accrue during timeframes when no ORS IV-D services case is open, and to outline the procedures ORS will follow when confirming the remaining balance due on an arrears debt.Utah Admin.
