Section R512-500-1 - Purpose and Authority(1) This rule establishes standards for kinship placement for a child who is in Child and Family Services custody, including preliminary placement, evaluation of kinship caregiver capacity for ongoing care, and background screening.(2) This rule is authorized by Sections 62A-4a-102, 62A-4a-209, 80-3-302, and 80-3-303.Utah Admin.
