Section R512-308-1 - Purpose and Authority(1) This rule defines guardianship services and placements. Guardianship services and placements provide a permanent, safe living arrangement for a child when it is not appropriate for the child to return home, adoption has been ruled out as a permanency goal, and continuing agency custody is not in the child's best interest.(2) Guardianship services are authorized by Section 80-2-301.(3) This rule is authorized by Section 80-2-302.Utah Admin.
