Section R510-400-1 - Authority and Purpose(1) The purpose of the rule is to facilitate the administration of the Home and Community Based Alternatives Program (Alternatives Program), which delivers services in a variety of community settings designed to assist older individuals in avoiding institutionalization and ensuring that their social and medical needs are met.(2) The rule is authorized by Section 62A-1-111 and the Older Americans Act of 1965, 42 U.S.C. 3030d(a)(5).Utah Admin.
