Section R495-820-1 - Purpose(1) The purpose of this rule is to set forth procedures and standards that are in compliance with the federal requirements of 45 CFR 46, 21 CFR 50, 21 CFR 56, 21 CFR 312, 21 CFR 812, 45 CFR 164.508, and 45 CFR 164.512 for the review and approval of research activities that propose to target or recruit the Department's clients or employees and/or access data from the Department's publicly-funded client population or the Department's employees, including additional requirements specific or unique to the Department.
