Section R432-750-27 - First Aid(1) The licensee shall ensure that at least one staff person is on duty 24 hours per day who is certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and has training in basic first aid, the Heimlich maneuver, and emergency procedures.(2) Each licensee, except those attached to a medical unit, shall ensure that a first aid kit is available at a designated location in the facility.(3) Each licensee shall have a current edition of a basic first aid manual approved by the American Red Cross, the American Medical Association, or a state or federal health agency.Utah Admin.
