Section R432-101-7 - Organization(1) Section R432-100-6 additionally applies to the governing body of a psychiatric specialty hospital.(2) The governing body shall develop through its officers, committees, medical and other staff, a mission statement that includes a plan for patient care services.(3) The licensee shall provide: (a) current and complete medical records;(b) continuous registered nursing supervision and other nursing services;(c) basic in-house services to include: (iii) emergency services;(iv) interim care of traumatized patients coordinated with an appropriate emergency transportation service;(v) specialized diagnostic and therapeutic facilities; and(vi) medical staff and equipment required to provide the type of care in the recognized specialty the hospital provides; and(d) any basic on-site services required of a general hospital that are needed for the diagnosis, therapy, and treatment offered or required by patients admitted to or cared for in the psychiatric specialty hospital.Utah Admin.
