Section R392-702-1 - Authority and Purpose(1) This rule is authorized under Sections 26B-1-202 and 26B-7-402.(2) This rule establishes minimum standards for the sanitation, operation, and maintenance of a cosmetology facility, as defined by this rule, and provides for the prevention and control of health hazards associated with a cosmetology facility that are likely to affect public health including risk factors contributing to injury, sickness, death, and disability.Utah Admin.
