Section R357-39-106 - Method for Selecting Awardees(1) The office will, according to its discretion and judgment, review the business's proposal by considering:(a) statewide or regional importance of the industry to Utah's economy;(b) relative size of the sector, its stability, and growth potential;(c) characteristics of Utah's workforce including education and training;(d) the current availability of other sources of funding;(e) the potential for the industry to develop new jobs and business opportunities in Utah;(f) likelihood that skilled labor in this sector will result in the creation of a business in Utah or growth of existing Utah business;(g) number of positions to be trained and filled;(h) impact on the local economy;(i) projected time to fill job needs; and(j) any other factor the office deems relevant.Utah Admin.
