Section R307-304-3 - Exemptions(1) The requirements of R307-304 do not apply to the operations that are subject to R307-342 through R307-347 and R307-349 through R307-355.(2) Shipbuilding and repair and fiberglass boat manufacturing materials.(3) Operations that are exclusively covered by Department of Defense military technical data and performed by a Department of Defense contractor and/or on site at installations owned and/or operated by the United States Armed Forces are exempt from the requirements of R307-304.(6) Solvent cleaning in laboratory tests and analysis and research and development projects.(7) Cleaning with aerosol products.(8) Cleaning solvents that are defined as a consumer product in R307-357 are exempt from R307-304 and are regulated under the requirements in R307-357.(9) Cleaning of solar cells, laser hardware, scientific instruments, and high-precision optics.Utah Admin.
