Section R277-724-1 - Authority and Purpose(1) This rule is authorized by:(a) Utah Constitution Article X, Section 3 which vests general control and supervision of public education in the Board;(b) Subsection 53E-3-401(4), which allows the Board to adopt rules in accordance with its responsibilities; and(c) Subsection 53E-3-501(3), which authorizes the Board to administer and distribute funds made available through programs of the federal government.(2) The purpose of this rule is to establish eligibility criteria for new sponsoring organizations to recruit facilities for child care centers and day care homes in unserved areas.Utah Admin.
