Section R457-1-514 - Timekeeper(1) A timekeeper shall announce the beginning and end of each round by striking the gong.(2) A timekeeper shall have an alerting device and a stopwatch.(3) Ten seconds before the beginning of each round, the timekeeper shall warn the contestants of the time by sounding the alert device.(4) If a contest terminates before the scheduled limit of rounds, the timekeeper shall inform the announcer of the exact duration of the contest.(5) The timekeeper shall keep track of and record the exact amount of time that any contestant remains on the canvas.Utah Admin.
