Section R450-4-4 - Membership and Duties of the Commission(1) Membership and duties of the Utah Multicultural Commission are outlined in Sections 9-21-301 through 9-21-302.(2) A quorum of the commission members may select a co-chair of the commission. The co-chair will have the same authority as the chair defined in 9-21-301 -2(a).(3) A majority of the commission may request nominations for board members from organizations outside of the commission. Those nominations shall be submitted to the Governor for appointment.(4) The commission may recommend the Governor appoint members based on specific job titles with automatic membership on the commission for the person holding that position.(5) Members may designate a proxy for attendance and voting purposes at individual meetings, as needed.Utah Admin.
