Section R70-101-17 - [Effective 1/28/2025] Variance(1) The department may issue a variance on law or textile label and tag requirements.(2)(a) A permittee may request a variance to the department in writing.(b) The variance shall contain the following information:(i) the product associated with the variance request;(ii) where the variance will be used;(iii) an explanation of the need for a variance;(iv) a description of the application of the variance in practice; and(v) an example of the substitute law or textile label or tag that will be used instead of the required label or tag.(3) The department shall give approval of a variance in writing.(4) A variance shall be subject to a period of review.Utah Admin.
