Section R58-20-14 - Dissolution of an Elk Ranch(1) Before an elk ranch owner dissolves an elk ranch, they shall remove any elk from the premises.(2) The department or Division of Wildlife Resources shall remove any abandoned elk using lethal means.(a) Elk ranch owners shall dispose of carcasses by disposal in an approved landfill, incineration, or a donation as a charitable food item in compliance with Section 4-34-103.(b) The elk owner is responsible for any costs associated with removing abandoned elk.Utah Admin.
