Section 224.248 - Hearing Continuance(a) A continuance of the contested case hearing will be granted by the hearings examiner only upon a showing of good cause.(b) A motion for continuance of a contested case hearing shall be filed and served on all parties at least five days before the hearing date, except when good cause is shown to consider a motion for continuance filed after the deadline.43 Tex.
