Section 224.240 - Notice of Hearing(a) Each party is entitled to an opportunity for a hearing, in accordance with Government Code, § 2001.051.(b) A notice of hearing in a contested case shall comply with the requirements of Government Code, §2001.052(a) and the department shall serve the notice upon the parties by certified mail, return receipt requested to the last known address of a party or the party's authorized representative in accordance with Occupations Code, § 2301.705.(c) The last known address of a party is the last mailing address provided to the department.(d) A notice of hearing in a contested case may be amended in accordance with Government Code, § 2001.052(b).43 Tex.
