Section 215.106 - Time for Filing Protest(a) A notice of protest must be:(1) received by the department not later than 5:00 p.m. Central Time (CST or CDT, as applicable) on the 15th day after the department issued the notice as evidenced by the date in the notice;(2) filed in the department's designated electronic filing system; and(3) submitted with the filing fee paid.(b) The department shall reject a notice of protest if:(1) the complete notice of protest is not filed within 15 days from the date of mailing of the department's notification to the license holder of the filing of the application; or(2) the required filing fee is not paid when the protest is submitted in the department's designated electronic filing system or is later dishonored.43 Tex.
