Section 25.53 - Bicycle Use on the State HighwaysThe department will commence consideration of bicycle use on the state highway system by:
(1) seeking comments on policies and certain highway improvement projects from the Bicycle Advisory Committee;(2) taking bicycle accommodation into consideration during the planning and implementation of all construction and rehabilitation projects; and(3) compiling research related to bicycle hazards, and developing guidelines for prioritizing maintenance that takes these hazards into consideration.43 Tex.
