Section 707.559 - What are the basic components of an alternative response? An alternative response entails:
(1) assessment of the family, including in every instance an assessment of the safety of the child who is the subject of the report; and(2) where indicated and in collaboration with the child's family, identification of any necessary and appropriate services or supports to reduce the risk of future harm to the child.40 Tex.
