Section 51.16 - Enforcement and Penalties(a) A person who violates a rule or order under this chapter is subject to administrative penalties, criminal penalties, sanctions, and civil remedies as authorized by Chapter 161, Texas Agriculture Code.(b) An administrative penalty for a violation may be in an amount not to exceed $5,000. Each day a violation continues or occurs is a separate violation for purposes of imposing a penalty.4 Tex. Admin. Code § 51.16
