Section 30.2 - DefinitionsIn addition to the general definitions contained with Title 4, Part 1, Chapter 1, §1.1, the following terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following specific meaning unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
(1) Applicant--A unit of general local government in a non-entitlement area that submits an application to the Department for funding under the TxCDBG program.(2) ARO--The administrative review official.(3) CDBG--community development block grant.(4) CFR--Code of Federal Regulations.(5) Grant recipient--An applicant that has been awarded or received a grant under the TxCDBG Program.(6) HUD--United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.(7) Non-entitlement area--An area of the state which is not a metropolitan city or part of an urban county, as defined in RSA 5302, and does not include Indian tribes.(8) RFA--Request for Applications.(9) TxCDBG--Texas Community Development Block Grant Program.(10) TxGMS--Texas Grant Management Standards promulgated by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.(11) Unit of general local government--a city, county, town, township, village, or other general purpose political subdivision of the state, or as otherwise defined in RSA 5302.(12) USC--United States Code.4 Tex.
