Section 127.9 - Authorization of Certain Payments in Accordance with the Pension Protection Act of 2006(a) Effective with annuity payments that become due January 2008, the retirement system is authorized to make disbursements in accordance with Section 845 of the Pension Protection Act of 2006, Pub. L. 109-280 and related regulations.(b) The director is authorized to adopt reasonable policies and procedures to implement and administer this section.34 Tex. Admin. Code § 127.9
