Section 65.253 - General Provisions(a) The pelt of a bobcat taken in Texas shall not be transported beyond the borders of this state unless it has been permanently tagged in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter.(b) A person shall not transport a bobcat pelt into this state unless the person possesses a valid hunting license, stamp, tag, permit, or document, issued by the state or country in which the bobcat was taken, as proof that the bobcat was legally taken.(c) A licensed hunter may sell bobcat pelts to a dealer.31 Tex.
