Section 53.110 - Definitions The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
(1) Applicant--A person or entity who has applied for a new or renewal license. This includes each member of a partnership or association, each officer of a corporation, the owner of a majority of a corporation's corporate stock, and any agent or employee acting on behalf of any of the aforementioned persons or entities. (2) Consignment--The sale or offer for sale by a person other than the owner under terms of a verbal or written authorization from the owner. (3) Final conviction- A final judgment of guilt, the entering of a plea of guilty or nolo contendere, or the granting of deferred adjudication or pretrial diversion in accordance with Occupations Code, § 53.021(d). (4) Licensee--A person or entity who has received a license under this subchapter. This includes each member of a partnership or association, each officer of a corporation, the owner of a majority of a corporation's corporate stock, and any agent or employee acting on behalf of any of the aforementioned persons or entities.31 Tex.
