(a) Each youth facility (facility) that adopts an unassigned epinephrine auto-injector written policy under this subchapter is responsible for annually training personnel to recognize the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and to perform hands-on administration of an unassigned epinephrine auto-injector.(b) Training shall be consistent with the most recent Voluntary Guidelines for Managing Food Allergies in Schools and Early Care and Education Programs published by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.(c) Each facility shall maintain and make available upon request: (1) a list of personnel trained and authorized to administer the unassigned epinephrine auto-injector; and(2) annual training records for such personnel.25 Tex.
