Section 5.74 - Surrender of Registration(a) A Registered Interior Designer may voluntarily surrender his/her registration by submitting to the Board a written notice of the voluntary surrender that has been signed by the Registered Interior Designer. The voluntary surrender of a registration shall invalidate the registration. A registration that has been voluntarily surrendered may be reinstated in the manner described in § 5.76 of this title (relating to Reinstatement).(b) Upon receipt of written notice from the Board requiring the surrender of a certificate of registration that has been suspended or revoked pursuant to the Rules and Regulations of the Board, a Registered Interior Designer or former Registered Interior Designer shall immediately surrender his/her certificate of registration in the manner prescribed in the notice.22 Tex.
