Section 4.121 - [Effective 7/1/2025] Permit Term(a) Unless otherwise provided, a permit issued pursuant to Divisions 4 through 9 of this subchapter shall be valid for a term of not more than five years. (b) Any permit issued by the Commission under § 3.8 of this title (relating to Water Protection) prior to July 1, 2025 shall remain in effect until it expires on its own terms, is renewed pursuant to the requirements of this subchapter, or is modified, suspended, or terminated by the Commission pursuant to §4.123 of this title (relating to Permit Modification, Suspension, and Termination). (c) A permit shall remain in effect while a renewal application that was filed in a timely manner is pending review and evaluation by the Commission.16 Tex. Admin. Code § 4.121
