Section 12.165 - Rules of Evidence(a) The Texas Rules of Evidence as applied in a nonjury civil case in district court govern a formal hearing only to the extent consistent with Chapter 571 of the Government Code.(b) Evidence may be admitted if it meets the standards set out in section RSA 2001.081 of the Government Code.1 Tex.
