Section 366.625 - Medicaid Eligibility Effective Dates(a) Medicaid eligibility begins the first month the person meets all eligibility criteria as long as the person is not eligible for or receiving other Medicaid coverage.(b) A person eligible for MTFCY is also eligible for retroactive coverage.1 Tex.
